Brussels beats Mons (70-75)

Another preseason game was held yesterday in Mons. And things started pretty well for Mons and Auston Barnes (15 points in the first quarter ! ) and it was 25-20 after 10′.

In the second quarter, both teams showed some interesting defensive sequences (40-35 after 20′).

In the third quarter, Ian Hanavan’s team took the lead thanks to a 3’s from Pavle Djurisic, but Mons ended up the quarter strongly (58-54 after 30′).

With 5 minutes to go, Mons had a 4 points advantage (68-64 after 34′). It was time for Brussels defense to step up, they only allow 2 points in the last 6 minutes ! (70-75)

Auston Barnes was the main man for Mons with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Skylar Spencer was dominant in the paint with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

For Brussels, BJ Raymond was the top scorer with 18 points. Louis Hazard was once again very active with 12 points and 6 rebounds.
