Youngster Jo Van Buggenhout signs with Kangoeroes Mechelen. Jo Van Buggenhout signed a contract until 2024 with Kangoeroes.

This season, he played in Double-Affiliation with Basics Melsele in TDM1 and with Phantoms Boom in 1e Landelijke. In TDM1, he played only 2 games before the season was shut down. Against Limburg United B, he recorded 6 points, 2 assists and 1 rebound in 17 minutes.

At that U16 European Championship in August 2019 he averaged 5.3 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 4.8 apg (1st on the team) & 2.4 spg (1st on the team) in 21.8 mpg.
