On Nov. 4, 2020, French basketball prodigy Victor Wembanyama recorded his first points for Nanterre 92 team in the EuroCup. The 16-year-old 7’3 center recorded 5 points, 6 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 assists in 17 minutes of action in a losing bid against Cedevita Olimpija.
Wembanyama made his professional debut for Nanterre 92 in October 2019 at just 15 years old. He’s the second-youngest player after Stefan Petković to play in the EuroCup.
The power forward will be one of the top European prospects in the NBA Draft when he turns 19.
