NCAA: Toumani Camara has been Named SEC Player Of The Week.
Georgia’s Toumani Camara was tabbed the SEC’s Player of the Week by the league office.
Camara scored 19 points for the third time this season against Cincinnati. It was also his second straight double-double. He approached the double-double in the first half alone, scoring 14 points and grabbing 8 rebounds in the first half against Cincinnati. Because of his performance, Georgia defeated Cincinnati
It is a nice reward for Camara after hi big start of the season. Against Montana, Camara had 15 points and 17 rebounds, his career high. A couple of days earlier, he recorded 19 points and 7 rebounds against the Jacksonville Dolphins. But now, thanks to his performance against Cincinnati, Toumani Camara has been Named SEC Player Of The Week !
