Namur will play the TDW1 final against Braine !

Namur qualified for the final of the Belgian women’s basketball championship by winning 64-67 at SKW this Sunday in the second semi-final. Namur already won the first leg 75-66. Philip Mestdagh’s team wasl already up at halftime (34-39). The finish was unbreathable, but thanks to Melissa Diawakana, Namur took a decisive advantage 64-67.

Diawakana finished the game with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Courtney Range added 17 points and 8 rebounds. For SKW, Billie Massey recorded a strong double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds, Laure Resimont had 14 points and 5 rebounds. In the final, Namur will meet Castors Braine, who eliminated Liège (victories 58-81 and 82-56). The finals will be played on Friday April 23 and Sunday April 25. The eventual third leg will be held on Wednesday April 28.
