Max Kouguere signs with Brussels

Max Kouguere signs with Brussels to replace Pavle Djurisic.

Phoenix Brussels announced the arrival of Max Kouguere. The 34-year-old winger from the Central African Republic played for years in France. He will have the task to replace Pvale Djurisic who suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee and may be out for the rest of the season.

In France, Kouguere played for Gravelines, Antibes, Le Mans, Le Havre, Orléans, Pau-Lacq-Orthez, Rouen and Saint-Chamond. Last season, he averaged 3.1 points and 3 rebounds in 7 games for Boulazac.

Brussels starts his season this weekend with 2 home games: Friday against Oostende and Sunday against Aalst.
